Building on the success of SpeedUPAfrica 2016, organisers have announced plans for SpeedUPAfrica 2017, with a call for startups to apply and investors to participate in the popular founder bootcamp.
After being held in Accra last year, the next SpeedUPAfrica will take place 5th-9th July 2017 in Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
In an email announcement, organiser Toro Orero, managing partner of VC fund DraperDarkFlow, says attendees should expect: ’No panels, no speeches, no demo day. Instead, founder led peer-to-peer sessions, intense Silicon Valley expert led workshops, 1:1 Investor Meetings, and turning up of epic proportions…’
