The fourth Tech in Ghana Conference (TIGC) was held at the Accra Digital Centre in Accra 27th and 28th November 2018.
Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Communications Vincent Sowah Odotei (MP) officially opened the event, which brought together over 300 global and local tech companies, entrepreneurs, high-level government stakeholders and students over the two days.
Speakers included Augustine Blay (Office of the Vice President), GIPC CEO Yofi Grant, and representatives and directors from some of Ghana’s most exciting tech companies and institutions including Dext Technologies, Zeepay, Agro Innova, Farmerline, BlueSpace Africa, MEST Africa, Ashesi University, Lancaster University,Cowtribe, Stanbic Bank Ghana, Bloom Impact, Impact Hub Accra, Jetstream, Edel Technologies, the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT and more.
The Tech in Ghana Conference is organised by AB2020 and held twice yearly in London and Accra. This was the fourth edition of the conference, which was hosted by TV presenter Kokui Serlomey for the second year running in Accra.
TIG will return to London in June 2019 and Accra in November 2019.
