Resolution 2016: Share. Connect. Aspire

Africa’s investment landscape challenges are well documented, but AB2020 doesn’t dwell on them.

Instead, we focus on the proven solutions, projects and developments that are actively building and sustaining the continent’s economic and social future.

We’ve published and shared over 100 stories since launching six months ago. You’ve clicked, tweeted and commented on a variety of our features; giving us an idea of the type of information you’re finding useful.

Moving forward, we’ll hone in on the credible companies and individuals setting the standards for Africa investment, as well as gain further insight from the ‘superstars’ of the scene, and raise the voices of those who know more about business on the continent than anyone else – its expert natives on the ground.

To kick off 2016, our branding team Vine Creatives have designed a new and improved newsletter in which we’ll continue to highlight Sub-Saharan Africa-focused news, commentary and events shared by our partners, associates and peers across the globe. You can sign up for them free here

We’ll also keep you up to date with our communications activity offline; involving work with both the public and private sector to foster stronger relationships with investors and entrepreneurs, both in London and on the continent.

We’re passionate about action, and discovering what investors are actually doing in Africa and, more importantly, what is working for them and local partners both economically and ethically, despite all the odds.

At this crucial time in Africa’s development, it’s of equal importance to unveil how the business and regulatory environment is sophisticatedly changing in varying countries for the benefit of the continent’s growth.

We aim to be hands-on in our quest to share knowledge, insight and expertise with the AB2020 community, and guide you in the right direction to take part in all the action – Happy New Year!
