AB2020 to Host VC Panel During London Tech Week

Whilst there’s growing excitement around Africa’s burgeoning tech scene, the lack funding for Africa tech startups is simultaneously a hot topic.

Recent reports show a rise in venture capital investments on the continent, but this is mainly to the benefit of later-stage opportunities – resulting in a funding gap for startups at the seed and early growth stage.

So what can be done to redress this issue? AB2020 creator Akosua Annobil will moderate a panel featuring Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa)’s Ben White, NewGen Angels founder Sean Obedih, and Dotun Alowoporoku of Starta to chat about this at the Africa Technology Business Forum on Wednesday 22nd June 2016 (an official London Tech Week event).

Join us for the conversation, and to discover more about Africa’s emerging tech opportunities and discuss strategies to unlock them alongside speakers and delegates from Dell, Microsoft, KPMG, UKTI, South Africa Trade Investment and Africa Business Angels Network.
