Uncompromising Passion – The Humble Beginnings of an African Video Game Industry is a book that tells the unfolding story of a young man who chose to pursue his dreams with unwavering focus.

This young man is Eyram Akofa Tawia, the CEO of Leti Arts and one of the most accomplished and celebrated young entrepreneurs in Africa. The book documents how Eyram turned his childhood passion into a company that is presently putting Ghana on the world map of video game development through the amazing creative work being churned out.

Eyram’s unique passion for building video games was born out of his love for the superheroes he saw in the games he played and the comics he read as a child. With the support of his parents, he taught himself how to develop games and has risen to become one of the prominent thought leaders in game development on the continent.

‘It was also written especially to document the history of African game development on the continent. Co-authored by Samson Ojo, it chronicles my journey but also sheds a lot of light on the support (from friends, family, acquaintances) to grow a company; the entrepreneur ecosystem and the education system engendering it, which will make great reading and provide great insight to interested parties.’
